FRAUD (London) is an art-research duo (Audrey Samson + Francisco Gallardo) which develops forms of art-led inquiry into the multiple scales of power and governability that flow through physical and cultural landscapes. Audrey is a lecturer in Art at Goldsmiths University of London, and Fransisco holds a PhD from Queen Mary University of London.
In 2020, FR AUD investigated sand as a critical material in relation to tourism and extraction in the Canary Islands. In Halmstad, they have participated in the research phase of the residency, where they have continued to develop material explorations with sand and the politics of tourism.
