Between the Layers of Time

In the photographic serie Between the Layers of Time, Eringstam seeks to bridge the natural and the supernatural, in ways that dissolves time and the porous border between past and present.

Ann Eringstam’s photo series Between the Layers of Time has been produced during the shifting seasons of autumn, winter and spring at Tjolöholm. In the photographs Ann Eringstam explores the sublime in both Tjolöholm’s beautiful natural surroundings and interiors and allow for nature to grow into the rooms of the Castle to capture moments of mystery and stillness. The photographs seek to open our senses to the supernatural and the transcendent and inspire a deeper reflection of nature and the timeless mystery that surrounds us.
