AIO CoLab är ett nytt residensformat där konstnärer utforskar nya konstnärliga metoder genom delaktighet och samskapande.
To open up new experiences and knowledge – for both artists and co-creators – AIO CoLab is an annually recurring residency where new themes and locations in Halland frame, deepen and direct the work.
AIO CoLab is a laboratory that offers artists the opportunity to try new methods in a context where shared thoughts, stories and experiences become a creative driving force. The residency wants to make art both accessible and relevant by inviting them to artistic work that develops together and based on shared visions.
This year’s AIO CoLab has been created based on the conviction that children’s and young people’s life stories, thoughts and ideas are important and need to take their place and become visible. Through dialogue, experiments and joint processes, artistic insights and impressions are created, where artists not only lead, but also learn together with others.
