Place that holds its breath

On National Day, the summer exhibition The Place That Holds Its Breath opens. All around the buildings at Unnaryds Bonadsmuseum, the storytelling tradition of bonads painting and Montti Colque’s teeming artistic universe meet in collages, paintings and sculptures.

After the introduction, visitors, children and young people are invited to the workshop Characters That Hold Their Breath together with Valeria Montti Colque and the artist Carlos Martinez.

Here you can work with clay, paint and create your own figures. A character, an animal or a small creature takes shape. A story begins.

Drop-in – everyone is welcome to participate.

In connection with the opening and workshop, there will be a sandwich cake and pastries inspired by Montti Colque’s colorful visual world.
