Eric Andersson is a Swedish artist and architect, working site-specific and interdisciplinary, often with a starting point in urban transformation processes, collective caretaking and cross-species relationships. He is interested in places that exist in the shadow areas of progress, places that often possess values that tend to be forgotten within spatial development processes. Values beyond security, homogeneity and order. Eric Andersson’s working methods can take the form of situation-specific mapping, conceptual visual proposals and physical interventions in the margins of society. He is educated at Konstfack University of Art, Craft and Design in Stockholm and Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. He is currently based in Stockholm.
