Emma Andersson
Emma Andersson was born and raised in Halmstad. In 2016, she became a fully trained children’s culture designer and has since worked on a number of different projects. Even as a teenager her dream was to work creatively with children and young people. Along the way, Andersson has been involved in creating playrooms for refugee children, built play sculptures and led workshops where color and form are central. Craftsmanship is often included as a basis for creation, and children’s play and imagination are more important than doing “right”. By inviting children to participate and influence the projects and lead the process, adults can also learn from the children. Children know best what children want, and is therefore a central departure point in Emma’s work.
