{"id":4789,"date":"2025-04-08T12:00:42","date_gmt":"2025-04-08T12:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/artinsideout.se\/?post_type=collaborations&#038;p=4789"},"modified":"2025-01-29T15:26:24","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T15:26:24","slug":"water-reflections","status":"publish","type":"collaborations","link":"https:\/\/artinsideout.se\/en\/collaborations-and-projects\/water-reflections\/","title":{"rendered":"Water reflections \u2014 Halland 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"pt-0 pb-12 wrapper\">\n                    <div class=\"aio-grid\">\n                                    <div class=\"col-span-full md:col-span-4 md:col-start-5 mb-16 wysiwyg\">\n                        <p><strong><em>Listener,<\/em> Teckningsmuseet in Laholm 20 September \u2013 11 January<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the exhibition <em>Listener,<\/em> which will take place at <a href=\"https:\/\/teckningsmuseet.se\/hem\/\">Teckningsmuseet<\/a> in Laholm and presents works by Christine \u00d6dlund, Anja &amp; Tomas \u00d6rn as well as Pia R\u00f6nicke and Johan Tir\u00e9n, water and the search for modes to listen to nature and ecology&#8217;s own voices are central themes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Severed tongue<\/em> &#8211; Isak Eldh and Thomas Laurien &amp; <em>Now my sails are burning<\/em> &#8211; Henning Rehnstr\u00f6m Ring, Kungsbacka konsthall 24 May \u2013 17 August<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kungsbacka.se\/uppleva-och-gora\/kultur\/museer-gallerier-och-konst\/kungsbacka-konsthall\/utstallningar\">Kungsbacka konsthall<\/a> presents an exhibition with two works produced within Art Inside Out&#8217;s residency activities. The work <em>Avskuren tunga<\/em> moves through a blighted and neglected water landscape, Viskan&#8217;s estuary in Klosterfjorden, and recreates the memory of the place at the same time as an act of care. Henning Rehnstr\u00f6m Ring&#8217;s film <em>Now my sails are burning<\/em> also touches on memory, sadness and loss. Based on a strange stone labyrinth on the Onsala peninsula, dramatic history is woven together with personal experience of trauma.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performance Maj Horn and Sarah Blissett, Varberg 24 August<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maj Horn participates in Varberg konsthall&#8217;s exhibition <em><a href=\"https:\/\/varberg.se\/kulturhuset-komedianten\/kalender\/utstallningar-varbergs-konsthall\/2024-11-21-seaweed-stories\">Seaweed Stories<\/a> <\/em>with a work that is partly based on her participation in the residency Between the rain and the water network that she then established in Varberg. In August, Art Inside Out produces a seaweed performance that Maj Horn creates together with researcher Sarah Blissett.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Water reflections<\/em> contain different directions and questions and highlight water as both a threat and a resource, stories of suggestive depths, cartoon charts, seaweed laboratories and posthumanist thoughts.
