Craftswomen and artist Karin Auran Frankenstien is interested in exploring the material and social interactions that occur in the outside world. She combines diverse materials, techniques and mediums such as clay, ceramics, textiles, wood, sound, performance and moving image. Her art revolves around the indescribable, changing forms of consciousness, spirituality and the physical flesh of the human body. Her work also considers questions of class, the organisation of society and climate change.
