To see with our ears

Welcome to a workshop where we will experiment with sound—specifically, sounds that are beyond the range of human hearing.

Taking the sonic world of bats as our starting point, we will join sound artist Jan Carleklev—a former artist-in-residence with Art Inside Out—to explore the possibilities (and limitations) of creating art using sound, and perhaps even silence. It is a workshop where art, physics, technology, and ecology converge in a poetic blend.

For ages 7 and up. Free of charge for children; accompanying adults pay the standard admission fee.

Please pre-book to secure your spot by emailing bokning@hallandskonstmuseum.se or calling 035-16 23 00.

This workshop is organized by Hallands Konstmuseum and relates to the exhibition Markings – 10 Years With Art Inside Out.
